these glasses were a good price for what you get. they fit my face well and were mirrored just like i wanted. they have a bit of glare, and can be a bit dark at times, but i still like them. i get lots of compliments and people mistake them for ray bans so for the price you cant go wrong
Good sunglasses for a fair price. I got the package very quickly, it was undamaged. Plus they sent me another pair of glasses (polarized) and a small bag as a gift.
I am up to my eighth pair. No, it is not because they are poor quality - far from it! My friends and co-workers want a pair because Aviators are harder to find these days.
I have both the silver-framed and black-framed and wear them almost every day. They are true Aviators which I prefer because they keep the sun out better than many other styles. I often drive into the rising/setting sun and never have a problem with glare of any kind. They are a good size and can be worn by either male or female.
I recommend them to anyone looking for good quality, inexpensive, sun glasses in a classic style. The shipping is fairly priced and very quick to arrive.

Initially there was a problem with my order but Lu at 80s Purple was very helpful and once contact was made things were settled in a timely and orderly fashion. The glasses are great. Though thought of as some as "80's" "Retro" or what have you, Aviator sunglasses are like Chuck Taylor Converse shoes, like cowboy hats, like your favorite solid color T-shirt. Its Americana, Classic, and Cool, which is what makes it buck the trend and stand the test of time. I love my new shades. They also come in a great hard-case so you can stow them anywhere and not worry about them getting damaged. Beyond that even, why pay over 100 dollars for a pair of "name brand" sunglasses that are made of plastic when you can get something with sturdier, more durable metal frames? Even beyond that, the UV rating on these is actually not any lower than anything else I've ever worn, solidifying the fact that not only are you getting what you pay for here, but if your not buying here and paying more elsewhere, you are most likely wasting your money. I was very impressed with the professionalism and kindness showed to me by customer support. Thanks 80s purple!
I am somebody who's fairly active and I always find that I end up ruining at least a few pairs of shades every summer so I don't spend much on them knowing they are probably going to get thrashed. For what they cost and how great they are for comfort and appearance I recommend them to anybody wants a great set of shades without paying a great amount.
The picture makes it seem like the black ones have light blue lenses, which worried me, but they came and they have black lenses. They look good, they're really cheap, they ship with Amazon Prime, there's not much to dislike about them.
I live in South FL where the sun shines bright most days of the year. The glare (I can see the reflection of my eyes on the backside of the lenses) is unacceptable. If I were able to try these on in the sun before purchasing, I would have passed on these glasses.
I will tell you I was skeptical, three pairs of aviator sunglasses for less then a single pair of cheap WallyMart glasses is just unheard of. But to my surprise these are in fact one of the best glasses I have ever bought.
They are large enough to look and feel right on my big head. They are nice and lightweight and don't put a lot of pressure on the bridge of my nose and are very comfortable to wear for a long period of time. And they have a nice dark tint, which is a must for me because I am extremely sensitive to light.
I am definitely going to recommend these to all of my friends and family because these are such a steal at this price. That and the company, Goggles and Glasses, is a pleasure to do business.
I absolutely love these...they are dark which is a plus in sunny Texas. They fit well and are very flattering. The best part is that my grandson says they make me look like a movie star...what could be better than that?
These glasses arrived quickly in good condition. I was concerned that these glasses would be junk because of how cheap they are but i've been wearing the black/smoke for about a month now and I love em. If your expecting something for nothing you may be disappointed with the quality but i am glad I bought em and will buy another pair in the future for a spare.So if you want good affordable sunglasses I believe you will be happy and if your not atleast your not out a lot of money.If you like the look its worth trying.
I took a chance buying these glasses, since the last time didn't work out too well, and I am completely satisfied with them. They are extremely light, and have the exact frame shape I was looking for since I dropped my previous pair down cement stairs. I ordered the red pair, and they are a bit more bright than in the picture, but they look excellent. The hinges are quite sturdy, and the only part I am the tiny bit worried about is the rubber ends of the arms (They seem a bit flimsy), but I believe that worry is unwarranted.
For the price, they seem to be very good quality, and I will buy another pair if these follow the same fate as my previous ones.
Both pair of cheap glasses arrived bent, one pair were too bent to use, the second pair were slightly bent but usable. For this cheap price, we did not expect high quality glasses, and we got what we expected, they were cheap quality but would have been sufficient, had they not been bent.
We sent many emails to the seller, the seller NEVER, NOT ONCE, responded to our emails.
I gave a two star instead of a one star for the following reasons: Cheap price equals low risk, if the glasses are wearable, it is worth the price (one pair of ours was only slightly bent and wearable--since the price was so low, the one pair was worth it)--but it was disappointing that the second pair was unwearable, and that the seller did not deem it worth their time to answer an email.
